What are the best Claude Code plugins for founders?
For most founders: Superpowers to build, Marketing Skills to sell, Supabase and PostHog for your data, and Anthropic's own feature-dev and code-review. All of them are free to install.

- I built one of them, Bootstrapped OS. It is marked, so you can weigh that.
Which Claude Code plugins should founders install?
These are for SaaS founders, agencies and freelancers who use Claude Code to run the business, not only to write code. Each one was checked on its own GitHub page or official docs on 22 October 2026.

| Marketing Skills by Corey Haines | Marketing playbooks Claude follows: copywriting, landing pages, SEO, cold email, pricing, launch, analytics. | Founders who do their own marketing and sales | Free, MIT | /plugin marketplace add coreyhaines31/marketingskills then /plugin install marketing-skills |

| frontend-design by Anthropic | Pushes Claude away from generic-looking pages: stronger layout, type and visual detail. | Landing pages and app screens that should not look like a template | Free, Apache 2.0 | /plugin install frontend-design@claude-plugins-official |
| Supabase by Supabase | Lets Claude work in your Supabase project: query the database, manage migrations, deploy functions. | Bootstrapped OS by Panche Isajeski | Note: I built this one. An AI team in six departments, run by a chief of staff, from a niche idea to first customers. Agents draft; you approve anything that sends, publishes or charges. | One-person businesses that want the whole path, not one task | Free, MIT. Members add my weekly knowledge | claude plugin marketplace add PancheI/BootstrappedOS then claude plugin install bootstrapped-os@bootstrapped-os |

What does each plugin do for a founder?
Superpowers: build without the mess
Claude Code on its own jumps straight to code. Superpowers makes it brainstorm, write a design, plan the work, then test as it goes. You get fewer half-finished features. It is the most starred plugin here: 303.5k stars on GitHub.
Marketing Skills: sell what you built
Skills for page copy, signup flows, SEO, cold email, pricing and launches. Claude applies the right one when you ask for marketing work. It starts from one product-marketing file that the other skills read first, so describe your product there once.
feature-dev and code-review: a second pair of eyes
Both come from Anthropic's official plugin directory. feature-dev walks one feature through seven phases. code-review checks a pull request with several agents and filters out weak findings. Useful when you have no co-founder to review your work.
frontend-design: pages that look designed
Also from Anthropic. It turns on by itself for front-end work and steers Claude toward bolder layout and type.
Supabase and PostHog: your data, in the chat
Both connect Claude to your account in that service. You sign in once in the browser. Then you can ask "how many people signed up this week?" or "add a column for the plan name" in plain words. Both are listed in Anthropic's official plugin directory.
Remotion skills: a launch video in code
Remotion makes videos with React code. The skills teach Claude how to use it well. Check the license if your company has more than 3 employees.
Bootstrapped OS: the whole business
Note: I built this one. I run AgentaOS, a payments company, alone with it. It covers the path from idea to a product that takes payments, then the daily work of getting customers. It is also the newest here: 9 stars on GitHub when I checked. It is built on several of the plugins above, and it works alongside them.
How did I pick these?
- Useful for running a business, not only for writing code.
- Public and free to install, with the source on GitHub or an official docs page.
- Made by the team behind the tool, or widely used. GitHub stars on 22 October 2026: Superpowers 303.5k, Marketing Skills 56k, Remotion skills 5.5k, Bootstrapped OS 9. Anthropic's official directory, which lists feature-dev, code-review, frontend-design, Supabase and PostHog, has 43.8k.
The order follows what most founders need first. It is not a score. Tell me if I got yours wrong and I will fix it.
Which one should you install first?
Still building? Superpowers. Product works but nobody buys? Marketing Skills. Live with users? PostHog, so you see what they do. Want one setup for the whole business? Try Bootstrapped OS, and remember who wrote this page.
Questions founders ask
Are Claude Code plugins free?
All nine here are free to install. You still need a Claude plan that runs Claude Code. Plugins that connect to a service, such as Supabase or PostHog, use that service's own plan, and both start free.
How do I install a Claude Code plugin?
Inside Claude Code, type /plugin install with the plugin's name, or browse with /plugin. Plugins outside Anthropic's directory need one extra line first: /plugin marketplace add with the GitHub owner and repo name.
Do I need to be a developer to use Claude Code plugins?
No, but you need to be comfortable typing commands in a terminal. Marketing Skills and Bootstrapped OS are written for marketing and business work, not code.
Which Claude Code plugin should a founder install first?
The one for the step you are stuck on. Building: Superpowers. Selling: Marketing Skills. Measuring: PostHog. Install one, use it for a week, then add the next.
